On September 14, 2020, New Jersey enacted legislation S2380 that provides COVID-19 related benefits to employees across the State. The new law creates a rebuttable presumption of workers’ compensation coverage for COVID-19 cases contracted by “essential workers” during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
